Some people hate you because you had less and still did more.

Eight years ago, I stopped waiting for the “right time” and quieted the noise around me to honor the voice that had always been there, mine. I had to create my own opportunities.

👉🏽 Nobody was going to pay for me to get my Master’s degree
👉🏽 I was ready to invest in myself, even while job hunting
👉🏽 Neither company I worked for was open to adjusting my schedule so I could manage both work and school (unlike some of my colleagues)

No more shrinking. No more seeking validation. I went after what I wanted with or without support. Over and over.

Transformation isn’t a buzzword. It’s a way of being and becoming. It’s walking into the fire and coming out more you than ever, unapologetically.
